He was built as a battle droid to defend the lollipop guild from the Witch of the West. But when he meets Dorothy, he joins up with her as they have a similar mission - to destroy the witch. Over time the Tin Man develops feelings and emotions for Dorothy... but they are selfish, possessive feelings. Eventually Dorothy abandons the Tin Man in the middle of the night because he has become a hinderance to the mission. When he awakes, the Tin Man searches for Dorothy. He finds her murdered by the witch. With his new found emotions and a wicked, jealous heart, he joins forces with the witch in an effort to kill everyone and everything with emotions... since they are what took Dorothy away form him.
